
Care and Handling of new Pine Door Products
1. Inspect your
door(s) promptly after receiving them, and notify your dealer or distributor
immediately if there are any problems.
2. Protect your door(s)by
using clean gloves and equipment: Cover them but allow for air circulation.
Carry, do not drag your new doors over anything.
3. Store doors flat on a
level surface, in a dry, well-ventilated building. Avoid stacking on end.
4. If doors are to be stored
on the job site, the entire door including top and bottom edges must be
sealed with a clear or pigmented base sealer to prevent moisture absorption.
5. Never subject doors to
abnormal heat, dryness or humidity for prolonged periods. Important: Seal
wood with a clear or pigmented base sealer to prevent moisture absorption.
6. Do not deliver doors to
building site until surrounding plaster, drywall, cement, etc., has dried.
